LUCKY PAW LODGE

Daycare, boarding, and training

WHO WE ARE

"It's all about family here!"

Lucky Paw Lodge is a family business, and our owners have been working with animals their entire lives. They previously lived on a working farm and contributed to the development of what is now known as Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton years ago. Ann Sellew has been an animal control officer for 24 years total, and a state animal inspector for 36 years. She and her husband, Brent, a former law enforcement officer, have trained police K9s. Co-owner, and daughter, Leah Kennedy has been active in horse raising and competition, as well as fostering all types of animals, including dogs, donkeys, horses, guinea pigs, and wild animals such as racoons and opossums. Son Keith has worked at animal boarding facilities and is K9 CPR Certified. All members of the family and the entire Lucky Paw Staff has extensive knowledge of best practices in animal health and well-being and are always onsite to ensure that the dogs at Lucky Paw are healthy and happy.

The Lodge itself is unlike any facility in Central Massachusetts. It was designed it to be just like a vacation resort in the country. We have spacious outdoor play yards where your dogs can romp and roam with boulders and play structures, just like a camp. Our Dens, Villas, and Grande suites are all suited with vinyl plank flooring and glass doors for an open, airy feel, and our ceilings are vaulted with wood beams to give the dogs a sense of being outdoors. Each room is complete with a kuranda bed cot and food and water bowls, and we have cozy blankets and toys. We are fully heated and air-conditioned and have a large indoor play yard so the dogs can play in inclement weather. Daycare and Boarding at Lucky Paw Lodge is just like sending your dog off to play at his or her favorite camp or school! They make true friends and wonderful memories.
